Transworld Air Freighters Company (Trafic) was established in 2005 as a private air cargo shipper operating freighter airplanes from Jordan to a number of destinations in the Middle East, Europe and Africa. In January 2005, Trafic inaugurated its Iraq route, offering limited air cargo services.

Trafic is a limited liability company (LLC) that obtained its Air Operator Certification (AOC) from the Jordan Civil Aviation Authority (JCAA) in June 12, 2005. The company's home base is the King Hussein International Airport (KHIA) in Aqaba, Jordan but is allowed to use any Jordanian airport. Trafic is registered as an investment company in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) in accordance with JCAA regulation.
